Everyone can send a video of their playing for Semi Final round on YouTube. The difference between solo and chamber music is, if you are a solo competitor accompanied by, say, a pianist, then the pianist is not competing. So the competitor can change the accompanist in the final round, if (s)he likes. In a chamber music group, everyone is competing so the musicians should be exactly the same in the final round.

The judges would like to remind that if you’re a melodic instrument like a violin or oboe and perform works with accompaniment, that the quality of the ensemble performance is also important even if one applies as a soloist and not as a chamber music group. Although we don’t judge the accompanist (piano or other instruments), the accompanist’s quality influences, even determines the quality of the performance.

The list of Ananda Sukarlan’s works is in this website (for chamber music players) and could be listened to on YouTube and Spotify. For any questions on pieces, you could contact Ananda Sukarlan through his Instagram @anandasukarlan .

Those who are qualified to join the Final Round will be announced on May 20th, 2025 at the latest through social media. The Final Round will take place 2 (two) days between the 10th and 20th of July, 2025, the fixed date will be announced.
